Job Title: Consejero/a

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will provide support and guidance to individuals, families, and groups in addressing their personal, social, and emotional needs. You will work closely with clients to help them identify and overcome challenges, develop coping strategies, and make positive changes in their lives.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to help clients address their emotional and behavioral issues.
2. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in times of need.
3. Develop treatment plans and goals in collaboration with clients to help them achieve their desired outcomes.
4. Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide ongoing support.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
6. Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to provide comprehensive care to clients.
7. Stay informed about current research, best practices, and trends in counseling and mental health to ensure high-quality services.
8. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in counseling practice and maintain client confidentiality.
9. Participate in regular supervision and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
10. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment for clients and colleagues.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
2. State licensure or certification as a Counselor, Therapist, or Social Worker, if required.
3. Previous experience in counseling, therapy, or a related field preferred.
4. Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
5. Empathy, patience, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems.
8. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
9. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
